Starting with a bag of white earthenware clay each is expertly hand modelled, carefully dried, fired in a potter's kiln, then dipped in glaze and hand painted with professional ceramic colours to fix the design in the final firing.
The pieces are delicately made and can be wiped with a damp cloth or washed in soapy water to clean them.
