The morning provides the opportunity to have a go at throwing on the potter’s wheel with white earthenware clay, as well as making other pieces, a chance to find out how to work with the clay and try out a few different techniques.

When the weather is warm we can sit in the garden, please bring your own lunch, we always share a glass of of something nice!

Refreshment breaks with tasty biscuits throughout the day.

In the afternoon, more time making.

We round off the day at 3.30.

Then all the pieces you choose to keep dry carefully and then have a first firing. If you’d like to keep everything you make there is an additional charge. Then the three pieces included in the price can either be glazed white or if you’d like to learn another skill come back again one evening in a few weeks time to decorate them yourself (cost of £15pp).
