Taking inspiration from my late fathers wonderful painting of a nuthatch. I’ll let you see th finished product when the client has taken delivery!

Thrown mugs

Large mugs drying in the fleeting afternoon sun. With a little wind and warn air the drying times are radically reduced and the heater turned off for the first time this year.

Just getting it together for the Alfred East Gallery Showcase, this little Bluetit bowl will be among the pieces exhibited in April

Sea scape

Just taken a commission for two mugs in a different colour but sea themed design, here is my dancing starfish in blue and white

Dove of Peace

We could do with some calm with world events as they are. Here is my antidote.

New goodies

A whole host of new animals and birds on wire….much requested kingfishers and dinosaurs among them

Biscuit bowls

Just waiting to have their designs revealed. I love the promise of a white bowl waiting for inspiration to strike it, and the magic every time you open the kiln to see if it’s worked!

Getting used to painting these ‘springy’ hares, a fresh new design which was calling out for a curly lime green border. I’l use that wonderful fresh green on everything if I could!
