Wonderful review

Thank you top Sarah, who came new to a pottery day with me last month and left me a really wonderful review. It was such a pleasure to show her how to throw on the wheel. Here is what she wrote; Fab day with Louise and her Mum Sheila, Tracey and Joyce, making and throwing…

Kettering church projects fundraiser

I have been busily making little clay replicas of two lovely and rather iconic buildings in my area. One housed the church community I belong to St Michael’s, a beautiful ‘tin tabernacle’ church hidden in the back streets of Kettering, and the other, the ‘big’ parish church with its magnificent and iconic medieval spire, that…

Spring events, logo and bags…

I have new diary dates to my events pages so am well on the way to creating new creatures and putting the spring into the step of some favourites. This is to be the logo on new bags and business cards. Getting excited to see how they turn out.

Peace dove

Peace dove with an olive branch, I also do these little standing birds with holly as we move up to the festive season.

Robins

Robins seem to be making more noise in my garden, I heard one warning others away last evening as I went out to check the firing. Here are some lined up waiting for the festive season, more terrific images from Alison Bagley

Here is one of the new Slavic-ally inspired ballerinas, I intend to make angels and have them holding a variety of things, but fish seemed right for the first batch. I’m also…

Here is the new worksop

Here it is, with the roof completed, which has been terrific following all the amazingly wild rain we have had recently

Starting work again

The light in this new space is astonishing, I’m loving the calmness of white and grey, and the ‘new’ Stanton kiln is in.

Floors and walls

I have been busily laying vinyl and painting the walls fresh white.  The space is now coming together, can’t wait to be working out in it next week
